Simone Sedilesu

Simone Sedilesu founded Cantina VikeVike, a family-run winery located in Mamoiada in the heart of Sardinia’s Barbagia region. Hailing from a family dedicated to winemaking for generations, he grew up among vineyards, learning the trade from his father and grandfather. He then graduated in oenology, furthering his training through international experience.

In 2015, he launched his own winemaking project, aiming to express the identity of his territory through authentic, minimally interventionist wines. His philosophy is based on the idea that wine is made in the vineyard and the winery's role is to simply support this process.

At Cantina VikeVike, he works with native varieties such as Cannonau and Granatza, which are grown to organic standards. The resulting wines reflect the landscape, tradition, and unique character of Mamoiada, one of Sardinia’s most renowned wine-growing areas.
